urgent help on a bicycle handlebar design?
Guys, my assignment in Workshop is to make a wooden handlebar for a bicycle. Real-life sized handlebar. Am first yr. Mechanical student so all i know is cutting, polishing and edge-shaping of a wood(I can get help from carpenters). can you help me out with the dimensions of the handle-bar? Its a normal straight handle bar (check Wiki for pic). Simplicity is what I am emphasizing as I don’t have all the time in the world. Maximum a day’s work is acceptable. If possible, provide the connector for Brakes too. Pls help me out(soon). looking forward to your help.
Easy. Get a length of 1″ dowel rod. Trim it to 25 inches. Edge shape the end. Wax and polish. You’ll use all your stated skills and have yourself a handlebar. 30 minutes tops.
