WOOD WORKING VENTILATION
Posted on Tuesday, December 21st, 2010 at 12:17 am

In my master bedroom there is a bathroom without ventilation, there is a smell of mildew, how do i get it out?
I have tried solid air freshners, plug ins, moth balls-nothing is working. I keep the door closed to keep the smell from waifting thru the apt. It seems as if there may have been a leak at some point and the wood vanity was soaked as its got a warped look around the base. Thanks for any suggestions.
OMG! I so know the answer to this question because the same thing happend to me. This is a very expensive project but it has to be done. You have to install vent in your bathroom because the reason the mildew even got there in the first place is becuase steam, from shower or bath tub, created mold on the wall. This is what stinks, at least in my case. The vent will suck up the smell, and will prevent more mold from growing. I hope we are on the same page in terms of answering this question.
