Chopping wood and carrying water
Humanity takes very seriously and each experience should not be a situation of life or death.
Before came the industrial revolution, mankind has been involved in life. Half the world's population, produces all the foods that provide the other half. Residents landscapes have produced their own food and doing, they have maintained their connection with the land.
When I was young I always had a garden. Everyone had fruit trees of a species growing in their yards. Listen to the radio or watching television was something that was done after dinner, when all tasks have been performed, was a kind of reward for work well done.
When we went to bed at night, we slept well. Our minds are at peace to know when we assemble all as before. People were pleased and happy to do a good job days. The middle-class families has demonstrated the good life.
The rich and the poor have difficulty maintaining that they had. They were always under pressure to improve their lot, they want more worrying still retain what they had. All classes are viewed with fear and envy. The envy of the rich middle class for their freedom, the middle class envy of the rich what they had. They envy the poor for their lack of responsibility and freedom. The poor want be recognized and treated fairly, they want some of the other two groups had. However, it is the middle class between rich and poor. And the middle class was the symbol most prolific how man should live.
The rich always want to collect more introduced a virus into society called consumerism. Consumerism is the next big plague that would kill the middle class. The middle class turned their heads about what they had and focus on what could have found themselves wanting more. He moved away from the simple pleasures that were expressing their happiness and become addicted to the new wave of materialism that consume and destroy their way of life.
Rich introduced new products and services they said would free the middle class. During this extra time would be spent at leisure with friends and family. However there would be a high price for these goods and services. This requires the middle class to move their fields and gardens to find good jobs in cities to pay for the consumer society. Quality Leisure is traditionally spent with family, friends and community is dedicated to work harder to pay for goods and services. Were isolated and cocoon ourselves. We live in front of the television, because we are too tired to interact with others. The virus has a strong grip and the middle class was reduced to near nonexistence.
The middle class has been duped into thinking he was not happy and happiness could be found in consumerism.
Humanity is now in search of the that has been fortunate. He tricked into believing things that bring happiness. "I'll be happy when I get my new car." "I'm happy when I bought my new 72 "plasma TV. "I'll be happy when I move into my new house." But people find happiness is not always come with the new product or is very short. We are convinced to believe in things "that" happiness.
We all experience from enthusiastic about the acquisition of something new, see that this does not meet our expectations, was faulty or not as advertised. We were happy?
The illusion of acquiring more happiness outside we did not work and is realizing that something was wrong! How do we rob You?
We knew that happiness when we have not been too busy with their research. By nature, happiness is what we are, naturally, and what we express our happiness. Happiness is a choice to make first and then express it. In your mind you should be happy and then you want to do things that reflect Fortunately, things happy. All we are back, and that is why we are now experiencing. We believe the induced consumption for happiness is synthetic and artificial, and is designed to drain and collect all his energy and resources.
The new religion of consumerism have not lit. In fact, led us to enlightenment. It was on a path of research we already are, by nature, and why we can not find it. Can not find they already are. To find happiness, you should be happy first, and then to express physically what you do.
Enlightenment does not bring happiness. Search it will take.
There is a Buddhist term, "Before enlightenment chopping wood and carrying water, after enlightenment chopping wood and carrying water. "That's all it is a place to experience happiness. Happiness always lead to a simpler life. This does not mean we should give up the things we want. This simply means that you should not take more than they can handle while maintaining our ability to experience happiness.
