WOOD WORK UTAH

Looking for remote place to live. N.W./S.W. hr or so from town w/ a theater etc. like wooded areas.?
have looked at utah, idaho, washington state. just need to know of some out of the way places, not just whats on their web pages. have been to the major hubs, just don’t have the time or money to take huge road trips just to go exploring. looking for that perfect place. would love to work w/ animals. have thought about kanab utah, just because of best friends animal sanctuary.
Have you thought about Colorado? There’s some gorgeous scenery there, forested areas, private acreages … last time I looked you could still get 38 unimproved acres an hour west of Colorado Springs for less than 50K.
