Use a piano hinge.?
Living in an apartment is where I am. I have a kitchen for cooking and not enough space for a kitchen table, well, I have a bar and 2 chairs and make an island. My project is a table that I attach to the wall with a piano hinge near the wall when not in use. I use a piece of wood that is 35 x 35 ". I think this can be done with a piano hinge, and of course, also implies a position, probably using a piano hinge as well. Does anyone have other suggestions which does not seem too complicated or too complicated. I have some tools to work. Drill Black & Decker electric sander, jigsaw, screwdriver Several hammers and blows several, but most of these tools are the basic tools a homeowner. No big kid things, if you know what I say. Anyone have any other suggestions?
attach one side of section 35 of an upright piano hinge 30 inches "above the floor. Connect the other side hinge on the edge of 35 "wooden x35" so that it folds against the wall. Next cut a length of 30 inches (height of the table, on average) and attach in front of table with a small piano hinge. When the table is not in use can be folded against the wall and the supporting leg is raised in it and fold flat against the bottom of the table. You have to design a Methos to keep it against the wall when not in use, I suggest a hook and a ring as you can get door Good luck yard!
