How to recognize a good piece of carpentry

The most durable woods – oak, teak and mahogany to name name a few – are extremely expensive, so you may have to opt for a cheaper option. Idigbo, for example, can be given a final "oak" that resembles the original article very closely.

Wood is also very popular for furniture, but tends to absorb more water and Dent easier. Engineered wood, on the other hand, has a very high tensile strength, and treated to prevent pest damage. The division and distortion is minimized, making the finish very sustainable.
