WOOD WORK CRAFTS PATTERNS

What kind of glue should I use for this craft project?
My mother-in-law gave me a big plastic foot of a horse. She is white and has been played by children, but otherwise in good shape. I want to cover with beads in various patterns. But what works best to glue on a plastic surface like that? Is smooth enough, so they need a glue that adheres to plastic and pearls, which will be glass, plastic, wood and metal. Need advice of expert craftsmen there!
A glue gun will work better and not so expensive.
