Can anyone give me advice about wood working/ welding
Here in Iraq we don’t have much so I learned how to weld metal frame and make furniture out of wood. I found I enjoy this and when I return home I would like to buy some wood working and welding tools to make furniture and other stuff for the wife. We are newly married and don’t have much far as furnishings go. I would like to know what tools / brands would be good to get assuming the wife let me buy a few toys. I would also like some good reference material on how to make furniture. My wife and I are fond of the western style stuff. I am good with my hands and can pick up skills very quickly. I learned how to set up a sat light and a build network four our company in less than a week

Start with a drill, circular saw, and a band saw. as you get more experience you can decide what else you need.
