im trying to do some wood-working useing osage orange or mock orange what are some pros an cons?
whats the best way to dry it with-out making it split an crack do i need to work it wet
That stuff is as hard as rock! I have seen it cured for firewood and did not notice much cracking. Slow drying is probably your best bet. If you are bending and shaping you will find it easier to do green rather than dry.
