How can I get hair dye out of finished wood?
I think the question explains most of it. My brother was dying his hair (hopefully I’m using the correct wording) and got some on this cabinet my mom was working on. She finished it and put finishing on the wood. Is there anything you can recommend to get the dye out of the wood with out harming the wood? It’s dry now and it’s black-blue hair dye so don’t tell me to try to cover it up!

oh no! Dye is permanent, there are very few things that could work… you can try but I doubt anything will happen… scrubbing it (but by doing this you’ll wear out the finish)… you will have to sand and refinish the floor…Here’s some tips for your hardwood… maybe you can make it a do it yourself project….
