In Vs Manure fertilizer, which should be used in your organic vegetable garden?
Experienced gardeners know that what you put in the soil is one of the decisive factors when it comes to quantity and quality of fruits and vegetables for their plants produce. Plant foods are excluded from the right just will not matter, and crops are doomed to failure. The soil must be rich or poor garden.
A distinction should be made when it comes to food plants is the difference between available and unavailable plant food, ie, between the food that it is possible to use the plant to be subjected to a change of some sort before the plant can take, absorb and transform them into a healthy growth of foliage, fruits or roots. It is also possible that a plant to starve in a soil rich in plant foods, this food is not available because it would be for you to go in the middle of soups and tender meats if they were completely frozen unnourished.

Plants take in all foods as soups, and very low in this. To be available must be soluble in foods of plant origin food action root tubes, and if available, could, and that this benefit is your garden in question and not be there at all. Plants absorb their food through innumerable and microscopic feeding rootlets, which possess the energy absorption of moisture, and furniture, distributed by the juice plant, or SAP, stem, branches, leaves, flowers and fruits. It is a striking fact that can help resolve these things in your memory: it takes 300 to 500 pounds of water to provide support creating a book of dry plant matter. You can see why plant food is not very useful if available, and is not available unless soluble.
Plant foods contain the chemical elements, or rather of many substances containing these elements to varying degrees large. There a very interesting science of this issue. It is clear, however, as we have seen that the plants must get their food on the floor, and there are only two sources of the food: should be on earth now, or what we owe. The only chemicals mentioned three elements we have to consider are: nitrogen, phosphoric acid and potassium. The average soil contains large amounts of all three, but mostly in ways that are not available and therefore, may be dismissed from our consideration. (The plant food is not available already on the ground may be published or made available to some extent by the culture.) In practically every soil that has been cultivated and grown in the districts has been forged, the amounts of nitrogen, phosphoric acid and potassium, which are available immediately will be too weak to produce a good harvest of vegetables. It is absolutely essential if you want to have a very successful garden, however small, to add nutrients from the plant floor complete. When you realize, (1) the number of plant foods containing the three core is almost unlimited, (2) provides that any person is in different proportions and to varying degrees of availability, (3) the quantity of items already available in the soil is very variable, and (4) that different plants, even different varieties of the same plant, the use of these elements very differently
proportions, then you begin to understand what is a complex issue that is to use plant foods and do we talk so much and so little understood. What maze offers a writer not to mention the player to wander! I tried to bring the case clearly. If you've got, might be desperately disappointing for something specific on the issue of soil enrichment. In this case, my opinion would be that, by the time you forget. Fortunately, in food of plant origin, a little knowledge is often not a dangerous thing. Fortunately, too, your plants will not insist that to solve the food problem. Definition of a complete and they help each other and take the dishes. The only thing I fear is that the three important foods mentioned (nitrogen, phosphoric acid and potash), will be insufficient, because it was shown that when one has exhausted the plant practically stops growth, it will "Fill" in the other two. Of course, there's one thing to go to extremes and the waste of plant foods, although it is not, in general, bad plants.

If you know your plants need food available. The question then is what to wear. The terms "manure" and "fertilizer" are used interchangeably and ambiguously. I can use the manure in a broad sense meaning anything to rot and enrich the soil, as manure in a stable vegetable matter or decayed. Organic fertilizers can be purchased premixed in a garden center, but for about three to four times as much money as the use of natural things or mixing chemicals in the same soil. Depends on what you value more their time or money!
Among fertilizers, organic or "natural" fertilizers, as they often are called, and fertilizers is a very important difference than ever should be forgotten view. In theory, and as a chemical fact too, a bag of fertilizer may contain twice as many plant foods available to a ton of well-rotted manure, but a hundred practical gardeners ninety-nine-and-probably prefer the manure. There are two reasons. First, natural fertilizers have a decided effect of Physics plants in most soils (altogether outside the plant foods they contain) and, second, seem preferred over the way in which food items are served at your disposal. Fertilizers, however, are only valid for food that the host plant and sometimes have a detrimental effect on soil physical condition. When it comes down to the practical question of what your garden Revision great, nothing has been found to be better than the reliable standby of age, and animal dung. Keep your load! We have seen that plant foods that are not available and could be, for our immediate needs, the North Pole. Food plants in "green" or fresh manure is not available, and do not become until released by decomposition of organic matter in the interior. Now the time possible to cultivate a culture of vegetables is limited, in many cases is 60-90 days. The plants want their lists of food at one time, no time to waste waiting for payment to rot on the ground. It is a slow process even more true in clay or heavy soil. Thus, the use of manure is well rotted and broken garden that is. Second, make sure that no "fire hooks or grid, because manure, if piled by himself and the left is of course to do. If you keep all your animals
own, see the different types of compost manure from poultry, with the exception that is so rich that
is a good plan to keep for special purposes, are mixed and stored in a compact stack, square built, not a pyramid groups. Keep indoors and where it can be washed. The battery should be up and out and rebuilt, standing firm in the process, every month or two under water, but not wet, it has dried in the meantime. The effluent will be worth more than two or three times to the garden, left to burn or remain in frozen lumps. Of course, you can buy credited to a garden center or purchase of fresh manure from a local farmer If you live in the country. Whenever possible, you'll pay to start saving the manure for several months before you want to use and work as suggested above. In the purchase of fertilizers have in mind is not what animals do, but what was fed with food, this is important. Best fertilizer more expensive, but worth it. For example, the livery of horse manure can be very heavy, the weight of the weight, the value of three to five times more cattle during the winter of poor hay, straw and some roots.

There are other organic fertilizer is sometimes possible to obtain, such as refuse brewery hops or fish waste and sewage, but it general outside the scope of or shocking for the purposes of amateur gardener. There are, however, many things constantly going to lose the house, they become fertilizer. Dead leaves cuts grass, the tops of vegetables and fruits, roots and bark, green herbs, old pieces of fruit and vegetables, eggshells, coffee grounds coffee, any thing will rot, must pass through the compost pile. These must be stored, under what possible in a compact pile kept moist (never soaked) to help to decomposition. To start the work, collecting all the available materials and do a lot with a little fresh manure if any. The fermentation and decomposition started quickly. The pile occasionally turns to stack more trucks. Wood ashes form another valuable manure which should be carefully guarded. Beside the plant food content, have a great effect on the mechanical condition of almost all soils. Ashes should not be placed in the compost pile, because there are applications specific to them, such as dusting pumpkin or melon vines, or the use of the bed of onions, so it is appropriate to separate. Wood ashes can be purchased to that effect to a very cheap price, or use your own if to fire. Coal ash contains almost no plant foods available, but are well worth saving for use on hard floors, roads, etc. If you do not want to go through the hassle of overcrowding, turning, and the pile of manure, compost bins there, buy to put these things in decline. Make sure to turn with a fork occasionally and sprinkle with enough water to keep it moist (not wet) or the other.
Another source of organic fertilizer known as "green manure" – the burial of the crops to enrich the soil. Same in the home gardens system should be used whenever possible. In agricultural practice, clover, harvest the most valuable use for this purpose, but due to the length of time needed to grow, it useful in the garden when there is insufficient space for the clover growth in the same plot, while the garden is spread over two years, another plot, then change around them.
This system will give an ideal garden soil, in particular when it is necessary to rely heavily on fertilizers. There however, four green manure crops for valuable
the garden while in the same place must be occupied year after year: the corn fields of rye,
peas (peas or south) and crimson clover. After 1 September, sow every foot of land cleared your garden last season, with winter rye. Sow all dumps in August with crimson clover and buckwheat, and mulch the clover with rough manure after the buckwheat off. Sow peas or corn on the points that would otherwise remain unoccupied six weeks or more. All this must be planted in a freshly raked surface. A registration system a very large amount of plant foods that would otherwise be lost, will convert the plant foods available in the forms available while awaiting the next crop, and add humus to the soil.
I am aware that some of you do not use manure that disgust you too. That is However, compost also. You can buy or make your own. I'll explain how it works. We have already seen that the soil contains within itself some available plant food. We can determine by chemical analysis of the exact amount of various foods and plant nitrogen, phosphoric acid, potash, etc – that an entire culture of vegetables removed from the ground. The scientific idea is to add chemical fertilizer plants are already available in the soil more than enough to match the amounts resulting quantities of various items used by the crop. In other words, the contribution of plant nutrients in the soil + food available chemical elements contained in the fertilizer quantity of food available for cultivation.

Matter ingredient that organic fertilizers are composed are organic substances containing nitrogen, phosphate or potassium hydrogen fairly accurate number.
Some of them can be exploited by them. The people most practical for use by the amateur gardener, I mention.
Bone is the soil rich in phosphate and lasting long, called "Bone is the first best." bone dust "or" bone flour "is finely produced quick results, but does not last as long as the grossest forms. CSM is one of the best nitrogen fertilizer for gardening. It is safer than nitrate of soda and decays very rapidly in the soil. Peruvian Guano, pure form, is now virtually out of business. Lower grades, less rich in nitrogen in particular, should be taken into account, and also "fortified guano, in which chemicals are added to increase the nitrogen content. It's good for quick results. Palm Ash Group it is one of the best forms of raw organic potash.
There are many brands of organic fertilizers available for sale at a garden center. You can make your own much cheaper, but some people prefer to buy pre-made for comfort. It makes no sense to pay attention to the demands made by them. Although the analysis is guaranteed, the ordinary gardener has no way of knowing that the contents of their bags a few are labeled. The best thing you can do, however, purchased on the basis of the analysis, not the price per tonne, usually the more you pay per bag, the cheaper the really buy their foods of plant origin real. Mail Experiment Station in your state and apply the latest bulletin on fertilizer values. It will give you a list of brands that are sold throughout the state, the selling price per ton and the actual value of plant food sources contained in a tonne. Then, buy the brand that you think are most
value. For horticultural crops in the mixed fertilizer you use should contain (approximately):
In nitrogen, 4 percent. Basic formula
Acid phosphoric acid, 8 per cent. To ==
The potash, 10 per cent. Garden crops
http://www.on2url.com/app/adtrack.asp?MerchantID=124681&AdID=380901
If applied alone, the utilization rate of 250-375 pounds per quarter acre. If with manure, less in proportion to the amount of manure. basic formula (See above) means a plant that contains the food in the proportion that all cultures must have garden. particular cultures may need quantities additional one or more of the three elements in order to reach their maximum growth. This supplementary feeding is usually supplied by top dressings during the growing season.
If you look in the aforementioned report of the Experiment Station, you will realize that what is called the "mix" home almost always show a higher value compared to the cost than any other brand regularly. In some cases the difference is fifty percent. This means you can buy raw materials and make your own mix cheaper than you can buy organic fertilizers. You can also use things you usually throw Free!
More than that, it means you have purer mixtures. More than that means that you have the materials at hand to give your special power plant that the types of individual needs. The idea widely prevails, thanks in large part on fertilizer companies, the house that the mixture can not be practically done, particularly small scale. Information and personal experience I know the opposite is the case. With a tight floor or platform, a square pointed shovel and a big fence, no absolutely nothing practical about it. The important thing is to see that all ingredients are mixed well and regularly. A Weighing scale to also be a convenience. More information can be made from companies that sell commodities, or on experimental station.
In conclusion, the manure is preferable, but the organic fertilizer can work well too. The most important distinction is that plant foods available. Be aware that different cultures grow extra portions of certain foods of plant origin.
