Kitchen cabinets can be re-stained?
I live in a mobile home in 1977. The doors of the kitchen cabinets are horrible! They are a dark forest, ugly dark brown painted trim the edges. I thought I could take apart and re-dyeing. Does that work? No new business can afford. I want a lighter color to match the countertops and the rest of the cabinet.
If the cabinets are varnished, you must delete it. Then, if the stain is not deep, just sand or shutdown and then re-stain.
