GARAGE WOOD WORK BENCHES

Workbenches / Workshop?
I’m keen to turn my garage into a wood working workshop. However, I don’t seem to be able to find any work benches which are the suitable length.
However, this is where the problems begin, I can’t make a workbench as yet I have no tools – since I will have no bench to place them on.
Get yourself the basic tools to start with. Buy a square, a circular saw, a handheld drill, a hammer, tape measure, SAFETY GLASSES,etc. Also, buy yourself either a few 2X4’s to build a couple simple sawhorses, or buy the premade ones, and a sheet of 3/4th inch plywood, unless you have an extra old solidcore door laying around.Slice the sheet of plywood lengthways down the center with the circular saw, then nail or screw the two halfs together on top of one another, and lay that across the horses. Now your ready to start building a good solid workbench. I will say though, the workbench is for working on, not storing the tools on, you can make storage areas under the real workbench, but start with a simple sawhorse bench, and most of all be safe!
