I fuse glass into jewelry. I'm in Illinois, so I can not use my garage or outside. I no basement, so I work with a space in my dining room. The oven is as hot as 1500 / 1700. I intend to build a personalized plan of work. But obviously there is a place of refuge …. My thoughts, a wooden bench … but something on top to protect the wood from the fire …. ideas? btw … Eat my room is a great space, I've been assigned to a large site of all fires hazardous materials. The oven is in a position … they generate no heat of the oven during cooking. The concern is the glass when it comes out. It's too hot for put on wood or metal …. I need a table, heat resistant up ….. Regardless of the situation inside or outside … the work plan is required for these two locations. I'm sure open to all ideas and I will enjoy. Thank you very much. Next year … I'll heat the garage and move the work bench outside ….
